SR518D robot servo is the latest SR5 series intelligent robot servo developed and launched by SPRINGRC this year. The appearance of the product and SR508H SR518 size, fully compatible with control system, still used asynchronous serial bus half duplex communication way, has the position, speed, voltage, temperature and other feedback function, through the UART asynchronous serial interface control, each steering gear can be set different node address, multiple independent control servo can also be a single motion can be unified. Sending instructions through an asynchronous serial interface, SR518D can be set to motor control mode or position control mode. In motor control mode, SR518 can be used as a dc decelerating motor with adjustable speed. In position control mode, the SR518 has a rotation range of 0-300°, with precise position control performance and adjustable speed, and a resolution of 0.32 °. Only the semi-duplex UART asynchronous serial interface that conforms to the protocol can communicate with SR518D, which is compatible with Robotis Dynamixel communication protocol.

In order to ensure that SR518 has sufficient output torque and speed, this machine adopts a high-efficiency dc motor with strong magnet core and a sophisticated gear reduction system, so that the maximum blocking torque of the servo reaches more than 20kg-cm at 7.4v, which can fully meet the needs of general robots. The machine supports DC 6.8v ~ 14V wide voltage supply range, convenient for different users to use.

The nominal parameters of the product at 7.4v are: torque 16.5kg-cm, speed 0.19s/60°, no load current 200MA, blocking current 2.6a. It is a middle and high-end robot servo product suitable for popularization of robot activities, teaching and scientific research.
